Concert programmes available

Peter Medhurst appears on the concert platform as bass and (or) keyboard player (virginals, harpsichord, organ, clavichord and piano) often performing from his own editions and arrangements of early music. He possesses a wide knowledge of his subject matter and always introduces the items in his programmes with – as Radio 3 once observed – effortless scholarship. He also undertakes solo parts in oratorios and being a true bass is particularly suited to works such as Handel’s Messiah, Haydn’s Creation, Mozart’s Requiem, Beethoven’s Missa Solemnis and Verdi’s Requiem.
